Angie holds a degree in Advertising and Marketing, but after working in that industry for a while, she obtained a cosmetology license and started Salon Muse. She now has fifteen years of experience and two locations.Angie has a passion for growing her team and teaching the business side of the industry, coaching her stylists on how to build a career and live a fulfilled, balanced lifestyle. She also loves the relationships she builds with the salon guests. When it comes to trends, Angie loves natural, lived-in hairstyles. Outside of work, she spends time at the lake with her husband and two kids. What you might not know is that Angie was once Naomi Judd in a school talent show!

With fifteen years in the industry, Jamie loves providing services that help people look and feel their best. She especially loves to do a cut and color combo. As a lead stylist, she mentors new stylists. When Jamie isn’t working, she spends time with her family and animals and loves to dance.

Amy comes from a family of hair stylists. Specializing in color and highlights, she loves the artistic side of her job and the current trends of dimensional hair color, baby lights, and soft layers. After fourteen years with Salon Muse, she enjoys educating other associates and building guest relationships. On Sundays, you will find her at church, spending time with her family, and shopping. You will never find Amy without polished fingers and toes!

Heather, our Associate Program Facilitator, has been in the industry for 14 years and has received her Color Certification and Design Certification from Redken! She enjoys education and immersing herself in all things Redken color! She has been to The Redken Exchange in New York City and the Redken Symposium in Las Vegas! She is passionate about all things blonde and dimensional colors, mentoring younger stylists and watching them grow! When not at work, she enjoys reading, watching movies or going to the park!

Danielle graduated from Paul Mitchel and has been in the industry for 8 years. She has visited the Redken Exchange in New York City in 2016 & 2019 where she was given the opportunity to broaden her knowledge in new Redken color/design trends and techniques. Her favorite thing to do behind the chair is blonding and balayage. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside with her husband and dog.

As a Redken-certified color specialist with fourteen years in the hair industry, Kerry loves color services, especially dimensional blonde looks. The thing that she loves most about her job is getting to click with the guest and knowing that they love their new look. She spends her free time with family and friends, often watching Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, which she tends to quote. Often.

Leanna has worked in the industry for over five years. She is especially drawn to layered and textured cuts, highlighting, and balayage. Her favorite trends are bold money pieces, dimensional blondes, and textured bobs. The best part of the job for her is seeing the guest’s reaction when they love their new look. Leanna continues to learn by taking classes with different artists in the industry. When she’s not working, Leanna likes watching movies, walking her dog, and showing her love by baking treats for people.

Kristina spent a year in college before realizing that a desk job wasn’t going to make her happy. The hair industry gives her the opportunity to make people feel good about themselves while offering her a great work/home life balance, financial security, and an encouraging team. With twenty years in the industry, she is extremely knowledgeable about the color wheel, how to correct color, and haircuts for women and men. When she’s not in the salon, she’s with her family, exercising, or working on a home project. You might even find her having a dance party while cleaning the house with her kids.

McKenzie joined the Salon Muse team as a receptionist while she was still attending hair school. She now has more than five years full-time experience specializing in foiling and blonding techniques. Her favorite trends are chunky highlights and lowlights. McKenzie says that the best thing about her job is being creative in a fun, professional way every day! Outside of work, she loves music, cooking, and learning new things! Did we mention she’s seen Paul McCartney live three times?

Kenzie played varsity-level volleyball before choosing a career in the hair industry over college sports. She is skilled in blonding services—from basic highlights to a dimensional balayage. She loves to use lightener and toners to create a custom color to make each guest look and feel their best. In fact, Kenzie says the best thing about her job is creating relationships with her clients. Kenzie loves fishing at the lake, working out, and riding trips with her friends.

Paige loves being creative and making magic with hair, especially when it helps her build relationships with guests. She is drawn to bold money pieces and styles that pay homage to the 70s and 90s. When she’s not at work, Paige loves concerts, thrift and antique stores, and reading. She’s been known to stay up all night to finish a good book.

Mackenzie grew up surrounded by family members in the hair industry. Now it’s her turn to make guests feel their best when they leave her chair. She loves doing balayage and hand tied extensions. After work, she loves to shop and spend time with family and friends.

Mercedes left college to work in a factory to save money for cosmetology school. She found her passion and loves everything about the industry. Mercedes finds that the best thing about her job is the kind-hearted people she works with and learns from each day. Two fun facts about Mercedes: She likes the return of mullets which she feels look really good on some people and she can quote every episode of Friends because she's watched it over 30 times! When Mercedes is not at work, she attends church, enjoys shopping, and spending time with friends and family.

Kenzie Ann started in the cosmetology industry right out of high school by joining Salon Muse at the Front desk! Upon graduation she immediately started our associate program that she excelled at from the start through her completion in February of 2024. Currently she is loving extensions, blonding services, and creating lives in color looks on her clients! She is such a ray of light in our salon and we love her positivity and friendly personality! In her free time she enjoys being outside, spending time with her fiancé and her sweet pup, Harley!

I started at Salon Muse as a receptionist while in hair school, and recently graduated to become an associate Stylist. I love being able to help people find their unique look and love that I can help people express themselves. I enjoy being creative and finding ways to show my creativity in the work that I do. I love all areas of cosmetology and I am always open to new ideas and new opportunities. My favorite service is any blonding technique and integrating fun colors into someone's look.

My name is Courtney Clements. I began my career in the hair industry as a stylist in Bowling Green, KY. My family and I then moved to Chicago where I trained and worked as a hair colorist before settling down back home in Louisville. I love all things color and styling! I pride myself in my thorough consultations with my guests in which we can collaborate on a game plan and provide them with ease, comfort, and excitement while they are in my chair. My favorite thing about being in the hair industry is that I get the opportunity to make people feel beautiful and like the best versions of themselves while simultaneously expressing myself artistically. I aspire to bring love and joy to each person who I am blessed to have in my chair. Outside of work you will find me spending time with my husband, son and daughter usually at a park or somewhere outdoors. I love to read, run, crochet, and craft!

Hi, I’m Jasmine! I graduated from Empire Beauty School in March and have been working for Salon Muse since June! Creating beautiful hair is my passion. I love helping clients find their perfect style and leaving the salon with a smile on their face! I grew up in Bardstown & just recently moved back to Bardstown with my family. I am a mom of two beautiful girls and also a dog mom! Outside of work you will most likely find us shopping, at the park or doing some type of family activity. I am so excited to finally be starting my career in the hair industry and can’t wait to see what the future holds!”

Autumn was driven by a desire to be skilled at her craft, and graduated from Paul Mitchel on the Dean’s List. She especially likes blonding, extensions and hair cutting. Being a part of a large family, with adopted siblings, has taught Autumn to be compassionate and laid back. Liz joined Salon Muse in 2022 and brought her previous experience in front desk and salon management, customer service, and hospitality. Liz loves the busy Salon atmosphere and being able to assist the stylists however she can and make guests feel welcome while enjoying their experience.
